1. Introduction

With the approval from National Postdoctoral Management Committee, the post-doctoral workstation of Guangdong Institute of Intelligence Science and Technology（GDIIST）was formally founded in March, 2022. It is qualified to employ post-PhDs.

The GDIIST Postal-doctoral workstation adheres to the principle of open, fair , equitable and preferential selection to introduce post-PhDs through various channels, such as voluntary application and the recommendations from tutors or other postdoctoral workstations and so on. The post-PhDs could enjoy the relevant supportive polices from our nation, Zhuhai and Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone. It should be noted that the specific treatment standards are subject to the policies implemented by the government at the time of application. Normally, the duration for post-PhDs in the workstation is 2 years.Those who undertake major national science and technology projects are able to sign a 3-year or 4-year training agreement directly. For the ones whose duration is more than 4 years, they should apply for extension before the end of the agreement. After the completion of scientific research at the station, the post-PhDs are required to take the initiative to submit the research work report, achievement report, the materials for applying outbound and so on. In combination with the signed agreement, GDIIST will organize relevant experts to make an outbound assessment. If the outstanding post-PhDs are willing to continue to work in GDIIST, he/she could be hired as a full-time employee after completing all the procedures of applying outbound.

Guided by innovation-driven development and technological breakthrough, GDIIST will take postdoctoral research station as an important part of the implementation of talent strategy, continuously create conditions in terms of innovation resources and innovation environment, and create a good academic atmosphere for the training of post-PhDs.

2. Requirements

The following are the basic requirements for the applicants applying to work in the station:

1). Abide by the national constitution and laws; abide by the constitution, rules and regulations of GDIIST;

2). Be a good citizen with a strong work ethic;

3). Own a PHD degree; have good academic style, excellent academic quality, and rigorous scientific attitude; be diligent ,dedicated and healthy; Applicants should be under the age of 40;

4) Work as full-time researchers during the stay at the station;

5) Applicants should submit a written application and supporting materials to the station.If the candidate is in the situation of contractual programs, orientation training or serving in the military, he or she should provide the certificate of approval from the related organizations.

6) Applicants must undertake full-time post-doctoral research work in GDIIST for at least two years during their stay.
